Cette histoire en deux parties s’inspire des cordyceps, mais ici, ces champignons infectent les humains et non les insectes. Le monde fait-il face à une nouvelle pandémie ? Est-ce le moyen trouvé par la nature pour réguler la population humaine ainsi que l’expansion du béton ?

This two-part story was inspired by cordyceps. But, here, these mushrooms infect humans rather than insects. Is the world facing a new pandemic era? Is it a way for nature to decrease populations and mass urbanization?
Realized for the opencall: š! #39 'The End', for the Latvian editor : kuš!

Exil
Pour mon projet plastique, j'ai souhaité continuer le travail initié dans mon mémoire en relatant un parcours métaphorique.
Mes expérimentations m'ont amenée à intégrer le personnage, anonyme exilé, dans une narration graphique. Il y est question de fragmentation du parcours et de l'identité, mais ici, l'exil s'inscrit dans une errance. On ne sait ni d'où il vient ni où il va. Au fil du récit, on le voit évoluer physiquement et psychiquement.
Sa fragmentation de l'identité modifie aussi le paysage, qui abandonne progressivement son aspect naturel pour devenir complètement irréel. Tout se délite, lui comme ce qui l'entoure.
Je perçois ce projet comme un moyen de poser un autre regard sur la migration et l'exil. J'envisage la fiction, la métaphore et l'imaginaire comme un possible pour pousser à la réflexion sans être pour autant un discours péremptoire.
Un grand merci à Raphael Urwiller (tuteur plastique) et Emmanuel Cyriaque (tuteur théorique) pour leur suivi et la richesse de nos échanges.

In my plastic project, I have wished to still talk about a metaphoric process.
Experiments have led me to integrate the character, an anonymous exile, into a graphic narration. It is still a question of process and identity fragmentation. Exile enters into wandering. We don't know where he comes from or where he goes. In the story, we can see him progressing physically and psychologically. Identity fragmentation also alters the overall landscape that becomes totally unreal.
I am using this narration as a way of having a different perception of migration and exile. I consider fiction, metaphor, imaginary as an invitation to think.
